The game starts with 12 checkers of each player, arranged on the dark squares of a 64-square board. Players take turns moving their checkers forward, capturing their opponent's pieces by jumping over them to an empty square. The game requires strategic thinking and planning, as players must think ahead to block their opponent's moves and set up traps to capture their pieces. Checkers is a classic game that has stood the test of time and continues to be enjoyed by millions of people around the world. The objective of the game is to be the first player to capture all of your opponent's checkers or block them so they cannot move.

How To Play

  • A player can move their checkers forward, but only forward, along the dark squares. Only move one checker per turn.
  • A player can only move a checker to an adjacent square, either horizontally or vertically.

Special Moves

  1. King me: When a checker reaches the opposite side of the board (the opponent's starting side), it becomes a king.
  2. King me back: A king can move in any direction (forward, backward, or diagonally) along a diagonal line.
  3. Blocking: If you cannot move a checker, you can try to block your opponent's checker by placing one of your own checkers on the square that your opponent's checker would land on.
